Blown away

I am that annoying character at restaurants with too many dietary restrictions. I have Celiacs (gluten intolerance) and am vegan (my wife is as well). Throughout the years, I have accepted that wedding food was always going to be more alcohol than real calories, and I was okay with that. For my own wedding, I was hopeful to have one main thing that I would be able to eat. Here’s where Suzy came into the picture, as well as this review title: blown away. She was so unbelievably accommodating and gave us so many options for delicious and inclusive food to be served. I could literally talk for days about this but I will try to keep it brief. The food was unbelievable. I ate so much, and got so many compliments from others about the food served. All diners at our wedding were satisfied and given so many options. Also, the drinks were INCREDIBLE. All of the staff was so nice and the signature cocktails were so, so delicious. Last thing - the cake and cupcakes were out of this world. For the past few years I have avoided sugar like the plague. That said, I was unable to stop myself from eating almost the entirety of this cake over the course of a week. A delicious vegan, gluten free cake that was moist?? I was able to freeze a quarter of it and we will be enjoying it on our one-year anniversary. Chive has my whole heart and will be thoroughly recommended to anyone and everyone applicable. Blown. Away.”
