“My husband and I decided early on that food was going to be the most important part of our wedding day. We also knew that we wanted it to be 100% vegan. As big fans of Chive Kitchen when they had the restaurant in Farmington, we knew they could put together a fantastic menu for us. We hired Chive for food, bar service, and month-of consult and weekend coordinator. Suzy and team helped create an incredible evening that we will never forget. After our first meeting with Suzy, we knew we were in good hands. As two guys who had never given a lot of thought to what our “dream” wedding would look like, she took our vague ideas and turned them into reality. We had a general idea of what type of venue we wanted, and her first suggestion was absolutely perfect. The bulk of the planning was left to us, but Suzy was always available to bounce ideas, provide advice, and steer us in the right direction. Suzy’s creative vision, intuition, and experience are unmatched. Everything from a unique room layout and schedule of events to small details with table decor and custom menu items were executed flawlessly. Her team handled all of the set-up and tear-down, leaving us to just enjoy the day with our families. The decor was so thoughtful, warm, and just beautiful - more than we could ever try to articulate. The curated vegan food, cocktails, and mocktails were absolutely delicious, and we received so many compliments from guests - even those who are leery of the “V” word. Bruschetta, buffalo bites, and fried artichoke appetizers were immediately devoured. Dinner was Caesar salad, braised cabbage, mashed potatoes, portobello steaks, and mostaccioli. All of it was so tasty (the BEST mushroom I’ve ever had) and we were reminded of all our wonderful dates at Chive Kitchen. We especially loved the custom cocktail themed after our chihuahua. And of course the cupcakes (pumpkin spice and chocolate) were a HUGE hit. Suzy was able to accommodate all of our guests' food allergies with ease. On top of everything else, it meant a lot to us to work with a woman owned small business and fervent LGBTQ+ ally. Working with Suzy and her team was a dream. They did all the heavy lifting and we were able to truly enjoy and soak up the incredible evening that was put together for us. Chive was responsible for the most important part of our wedding which was coming together with family and friends to share a delicious meal. We will cherish the memories forever. Amazing food and support
Suzy and the team at Chive catering were incredible. The food was delicious and the bartenders did an amazing job. Our cocktails were so good, and they kept things moving along so well. Suzy was easy to work with and helped to make sure everything looked, tasted, and felt like our vision. The day would not have been as smooth or successful without their team. The staff was all polite and helpful. We got so many compliments on the food - everyone said it was the best wedding food they’d had! 10/10 would recommend.”

We hired Chive to cater our wedding and Suzy to be our day-of-coordinator. Suzy was amazing to work with - she impressed us immediately with how knowledgable she is about everything wedding-related. She was extremely communicative and patient with us (we had a lot of questions), and she made sure everything turned out exactly as we hoped. We had some unique requests, both food-related and event-related, that she happily accomodated. She and her staff did an amazing job setting up our decorations and creating a beautiful food display (appetizers, dinner, and desserts). They truly went above and beyond on our wedding day so that we had nothing to worry about. And the food was absolutely amazing! We had an entirely vegan wedding, and we successfully tricked/impressed our picky family members who couldn't believe the food was vegan. We did a charcuterie spread for our appetizers, 3 buffet stations for dinner (Italian, Cajun, and Mexican), and a dessert spread that included both of our favorite desserts. We would highly recommend Suzy and her team!”

Suzy is above her class. I requested catering that would support a medieval theme for a castle wedding. She did her research of medieval period food and made sure her presentation matched our decor. She exceeded all my expectations. Her menu was special diet friendly and full of flavor.
