An amazing experience!
Wow! My wife and I had our wedding at the end of May, and Suzy and the team at Chive handled our food, drinks, décor, and day-of coordination. It was truly an incredible experience—our wedding was even more beautiful than we could have imagined, and we have Chive to thank for that. Let’s start with the food. We wanted something special for our guests (and ourselves), and Suzy crafted a thoughtful, homemade menu that reflected our exact tastes. The mushroom and pea pasta, lemon chicken with squash, Caesar salad, grilled asparagus—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. And the dessert spread was elegant and delicious: fruit, doughnuts, and the best chocolate banana cake I’ve ever had. She also created inventive and refreshing signature cocktails that were a big hit. The décor was just as impressive. Suzy helped us bring our gem-inspired color palette to life with rich greens, purples, and blues that created such a unique and elegant vibe. On the big day, she and her team did an amazing job with setup, smoothing out details, and making sure everything ran seamlessly. We truly couldn’t be happier. Blown away
I am that annoying character at restaurants with too many dietary restrictions. I have Celiacs (gluten intolerance) and am vegan (my wife is as well). Throughout the years, I have accepted that wedding food was always going to be more alcohol than real calories, and I was okay with that. For my own wedding, I was hopeful to have one main thing that I would be able to eat. Here’s where Suzy came into the picture, as well as this review title: blown away. She was so unbelievably accommodating and gave us so many options for delicious and inclusive food to be served. I could literally talk for days about this but I will try to keep it brief. The food was unbelievable. I ate so much, and got so many compliments from others about the food served. All diners at our wedding were satisfied and given so many options. Also, the drinks were INCREDIBLE. All of the staff was so nice and the signature cocktails were so, so delicious. Last thing - the cake and cupcakes were out of this world. For the past few years I have avoided sugar like the plague. That said, I was unable to stop myself from eating almost the entirety of this cake over the course of a week. A delicious vegan, gluten free cake that was moist?? I was able to freeze a quarter of it and we will be enjoying it on our one-year anniversary. Chive has my whole heart and will be thoroughly recommended to anyone and everyone applicable. Blown. Away.”

Some say the kitchen is the heart of the home & Chef Suzy was the heart of our wedding day. She handled everything from bar service, to passed hors d'oeuvres, to full dinner service. She topped off our night with the most delicious Italian wedding cake! She was incredibly professional, attentive, communicative & aesthetically appealing. She helped me bring my dream wedding to life & for that, I'm so grateful. I'll recommend her to everyone I know!”
